Gazprom Neft to drill 3 more wells at Prirazlomnoye in 2020

MOSCOW, Mar 24 (PRIME) -- Russian oil company Gazprom Neft plans to drill 3 more wells at the Prirazlomnoe offshore Arctic oilfield at the Prirazlomnaya platform, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.

“In 2020, three more wells will be constructed and launched at the first Russian shelf project in the Arctic,” the company said.

Over the six years of constant operation of the Prirazlomnaya platform, the company has produced more than 12 million tonnes of the ARCO oil in the Barents Sea and has drilled 19 wells. In 2019, the company produced 3.14 million tonnes of oil at the field, and the share of the Arctic oil in the combined portfolio of Gazprom Neft exceeded 30%.
